The global cosmetics industry is one of the lead polluters when it comes to plastic with over 120 billion units of plastic packaging wasted annually. Unfortunately, it's not just plastic pollution because the chemical and toxic ingredients can destroy coral reefs, decrease fish populations, and negatively affect photosynthesis in algae.
According to statistics, only 9% of plastic containers are recycled, while the rest result in landfills.
Our treatments
At RE:STORE we have created a retreat where you can feel confident that your treatments are not costing the Earth.
The products we have selected to use in our treatments are natural, vegan, and wherever possible organic and plastic free.
Our therapist
RE:STORE co-owner Kay is our leading beauty therapist with 18 years of experience.
She has worked in five-star spas both nationally and internationally including a season in beautiful Bermuda and also working as a therapist in Sydney, Australia. On returning to the UK, she took on the management role of Elemis' flagship spa in Mayfair, London managing a team of 30 highly trained therapists.
After leaving London for sunny Manchester, she continued her career in spa management, however her passion is people, treatments, and eco-conscious beauty.
